Merry Christmas! Happy Hanukkah! Whatever faith you may carry, I wish you a warm and enjoyable day off of work today. Before my hubby opened his gifts, we made breakfast. He demanded snickerdoodles, I wanted something more savory and breakfast friendly. Our compromise? We each make our own pancakes and share!
I found him a snickerdoodle pancake recipe while I chose an apple pancake, both recipes from the fantastic site Chocolate Covered Katie. Let the Battle of the Pancakes being! In the left corner, we have Snickerdoodle pancakes, beaten into submission by the great and overly powerful hubby. In the right corner, we have Hot Apple Pie pancakes, warm and fresh from the skillet. We agreed mine were best hee hee.
